“Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council is committed to supporting our local business community in the transition to Net Zero. Our borough’s first Electric Vehicle (EV) event will showcase the council’s EV strategy and promote a range of solutions available to businesses to begin/continue their transition to Net Zero and reduce fleet operational costs.
Event Overview
Take the opportunity to learn more about the EV eco system, talk to subject matter experts, test drive a range of electric vehicles and meet a variety of suppliers and installers of electric vehicles and related electric vehicle charging infrastructure covering charge point operators, installers and associated businesses.
Attendee Details
This is a free event and intended for business stakeholders and groups in Redcar & Cleveland and the broader Tees Valley and North East area, such as:
– Car/Light commercial vehicle users beginning or transitioning their fleet to EV/Hybrid
– Car park operators wanting to introduce EV charging infrastructure and potentially monetise this charging infrastructure.
– Stakeholders keen to understand future council strategy within Redcar and Cleveland.
Representatives from local dealerships will be on-hand to talk through options and showcase some of their electric and hybrid vehicles including cars, vans and other Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).
Exhibitors from local charging point operators/installers, suppliers and local trade organisations will be available on the day to showcase the latest technologies available.
