Excerpt from Eventbrite

Are skills shortages stopping your business from reaching its full potential? Join Tees Valley Business’s Skills for Growth team and Teesside University for a FREE sector skills meetup for the Tees Valley and get the latest skills insights to help you futureproof and grow your business.

Why Join?

You’ll hear from leading industry voices from the likes of CIPD Tees Valley, Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Darlington Business Club, Cygnet Law and business experts from Teesside University in panel discussions on how businesses can tackle their skills gaps and labour market challenges to prepare themselves for the future. Our panel facilitators come from diverse business backgrounds and hold first-hand experience in assisting and supporting businesses in their respective fields.

Hear from the Skills for Growth team and get expert insights and the latest information on the Business and Professional Services sector job market and skills gaps in the Tees Valley, now and in the future, so that you can plan ahead.

You’ll also discover how to tap into the funding and consultancy support available locally to help you get the right people, skills and tools in place to help your business grow.

Plus, have the opportunity add your voice to the conversation and share your experiences on how skills shortages are affecting productivity or preventing growth in your business and help us shape future skills provision in the Tees Valley that works for you.

Working in partnership with Teesside University, the project is also taking a proactive research approach to help shape and inform future training and development provision for SME’s across the Tees Valley and sharing this information via a series of business sector events, including this one.
