Webinar: Introduction to Exporting

Please note this is a virtual workshop aimed at North East based businesses interested in trading internationally or wanting to learn more about the service Department for International Trade North East (formerly UKTI North East) provides. 

Whether you are new to export or looking to enter new overseas markets, this virtual workshop will provide you with an understanding of the benefits of exporting and what your company needs to do in order to position itself for long-term exporting success. Discover what the ingredients are of successfully exporting your product or service and the things you need to consider to avoid the pitfalls associated with trading overseas.

This free virtual session covers all of the basics that a company should consider in making international trade a success for them, including:

  • The benefits of exporting and how selling your product or service overseas can improve your chances for business growth
  • Overcoming barriers to build a robust export strategy and maximise the chances of success
  • The practical help and advice available to help you on your export journey

 

Once your registration is confirmed by the Department for International Trade you will receive a Microsoft Teams invite with details on how to join the session.

At the end of the seminar there will also be an opportunity for you to discuss your business with a local International Trade Adviser during a short 1:1.
