SG Petch open new showroom in Redcar and Cleveland

Congratulations to all the team at SG Petch Ltd on their “official opening” last week of their new car Mazda and SEAT showroom on the A66 at South Bank.

Celebrations were held showcasing the new premises and guests enjoyed a casino themed evening, with live music and cocktails.

Sales Director, Shaun Burke advised then new site came to fruition following keen interest from new franchises wanting SGP to sell their cars, based on SGP’s impressive Skippers Lane sales figures. The business needed to expand their presence in the borough and the plan was to continue to operate their Skippers Lane site which was at full capacity, employing 53 staff and develop a second site nearby.

The business submitted a tender bid on the 1.75 acre former Council owned site, located on the entrance to the borough at South Bank and were delighted when their proposal was accepted.  Working with the Council’s Business Growth Team and Estates Team the new showroom has created 27 new jobs to date and the business is actively recruiting new full time Sales Executives – click here for more information: https://www.sgpetch.co.uk/careers

Great news to see the former vacant site now developed, creating new jobs and attracting customers from far and wide increasing local spend in the borough.
