Accessible from all directions, Saltburn can be reached from the A174 Parkway; the main routes to the A174 are the A19 North from York and the South from Newcastle.

The A171 runs North West from Scarborough to Saltburn.

Car parking for the top station of Saltburn Cliff Tramway is free and is available on Marine Parade. Please be aware that the path from Marine Parade to the top station is sloped.

Pay and display car parking is available for the bottom station of Saltburn Cliff Tramway at Pier / Promenade and Cat Nab car parks.

By Train

The closest train station to Saltburn Cliff Tramway is Saltburn Train Station. This station is serviced regularly by the Northern Rail service form Bishop Auckland to Saltburn.

By Bus

Arriva North East service Saltburn with the bus services 3, X3 and the 708.
