Redcar & Cleveland Business Network | Redcar Cleveland Ambassadors Event

In our final networking event for 2019, we are linking with Redcar Cleveland Ambassadors. This special event is aimed primarily at supporting small businesses with business growth advice and guidance and part of the agenda focused on getting the most out of Christmas – looking at how businesses such as retailers can take advantage of the festive period, and its increased footfall and associated events and activities.

This event operates under a first come, first served ticketing system and seating this month is limited.

Lola Ibhadon from Business Growth Team, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council with Richinda Taylor, CEO of EVA Womens Aid

Lola and Richinda will be presenting an informative and engaging presentation to provide helpful advice and guidance for business owners to overcome the issues around growing a successful business.

Rachel Shafto, Hearing Loss

Rachel will be talking about hearing loss and how businesses can look after their staff with hearing tests.

FAQs

How much is it?
It’s free. The venue, refreshments and underground car parking are kindly provided by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.

Who can come?
Any business owner whether you have a business run from home, a shop, office or multi-national business; the networking event is open to everyone. If you are thinking of planning a business please also attend to find out about grants, support and who can help you.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The address to visit is: Redcar & Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart, Ridley Street TS10 1TD.

Access to the Community Heart building is via the the main doors and the networking event will be held on the first floor in Rooms 2 and 3.

Underground car parking is free and can be found at Kirkleatham Street, TS10 1TZ. Access to the building from here is available via the stairway in the middle of the underground car park. Take a right at the top of the stairs and the doors to the main building should be open.

What can I bring to the event?

Please bring your business cards, leaflets and details of any promotional events about your business which you would like to share.

I can’t attend early mornings but want to get involved. What can I do?

  1. Like our Facebook page and watch the live recording as the networking event happens.
  2. Tag us in a message on our Facebook page , Twitter page or LinkedIn page and we’ll share it.
  3. Signup to our newsletter via the link at the bottom of our website.
