“A science and innovation hub is set to host a landmark chemical sector event.

The Wilton Centre, near Redcar, will host ‘Reimagining Carbon & Defossilising the UK Chemicals Industry’ on June 12.

The event, organised by Pioneer Group and Innovate UK Business Connect, and hosted by Dr Jen Vanderhoven, chief operating officer of the Biobased and Biodegradable Industries Association, is expected to mark a “pivotal step” in reshaping the sector through collaboration, knowledge-sharing and new technologies.”
