Starting a New Business – An Introduction to Business Finance

This interactive and easy to understand half day workshop is aimed at supporting new businesses and potential start up businesses.

It provides practical advice on starting a business, explains the basics of business finance and how a disciplined approach to your business finances can keep the taxman happy and help you make sound business decisions.

It also details the different sources of business finance available to new and growing businesses.

On the day the following topics will be covered:

  • Business planning and finance
  • “Doing the books”
  • Managing cash flow and debtors
  • Taxation and self assessment
  • Access to business finance
